  33. BetaCam decks also have composite inputs. Some have S-Video inputs.
  34. While dubbing via component would be better, depending on the job dubbing
  35. via S or composite may be entirely adequate.

  37. Take your system to an editing facility and work out a deal to dub to a BetaCam
  38. deck, D2 deck (which is a composite format anyway), 1 inch (also composite) 
  39. or whatever your client requires. Show the tape to your client and see what they 
  40. say.

  42. Composite or S-Video dubs to BetaCam will look noticably better than dubs to 
  43. SVHS. The jump from there to component dubs is smaller. Don't let the lack of 
  44. a component output stifle you.

  46. Someday you'll be able to make it better but you should still be able to get a lot 
  47. out of use out of your current capability.
